WHAT WE DO FOR OUR CITY

MISO FAMILY TOUR With the aim of educating, engaging, and enriching the community for a long-term positive effect, The Miami Symphony Orchestra, with the support of local schools, invites students and their families to meet the conductor and musicians to enjoy our concerts at the Knight Concert Hall of the Adrienne Arsht Center with the project MISO Family Tour. An amazing experience for the whole family!!

OPEN AIR CONCERTS The Miami Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director and Conductor Eduardo Marturet strongly believe that music has the power to bring people together. We have our annual series MISO at the Parks, where families can enjoy music for Free!

PERFORMANCE SERIES AT THE MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT MISO's past three seasons have been marked by the Strategic Alliances with the Miami Design District, having free and open to the public concerts at the Palm Court as part of the performance series.  Produced by Emilio Estefan in collaboration with the Miami Symphony Orchestra, the performance series supports young and local talent from all ages.

MAP (Music Autism Project) The Miami Symphony Orchestra gathers a group of children with extraordinary musical abilities inside the ADS (Autism Disorder Spectrum). We will help them to become more independent and with better communicational and social skills throughout the music. MAP mission is for these children to have a more independent life in an inclusive world. MAP will show them a path where they will find many benefits for their condition: they will lower their anxiety levels, improve their memory skills, and raise self-esteem and socialization, amount many benefits that music offers.
