Ferrari introduced the F355 to the United States in 1995, and the car represented a substantial leap forward in performance and handling, compared to its already capable predecessor, the 348. Produced from 1995 to 1999, the F355 employed a 3.5-liter, 5-valve-per-cylinder V8 engine rated at 380 hp, and has been considered to have one of the best exhaust notes Ferrari ever produced in a street car. A total of only 11,165 Ferrari F355s were built during their 5-year production run, and they are considered one of the most classic and respected designs in Ferrari’s storied evolution.

Ferrari automobiles are known for their performance, as well as their beauty. The mid-engined F355 is no exception, with 0-60 mph in 4.7 sec., the ¼ mile in 12.9 sec., and with a top speed of 183 mph.

Offered here is this pristine example, finished in Rossa Corsa (Racing Red) with a tan interior and a matching tan cover for its black convertible top, it is one of only 1,127 Spiders produced.

This car offers the best of Ferrari’s first year of F355 Spider production. The exterior paint is in excellent, near flawless condition, as is the interior leather. A modern Sony audio head unit (with CD, mp3, HD, Sat) is installed, with the original unit included. There is some minor curb rash on two wheels (passenger side front), though otherwise they are also in excellent condition. It has been very well cared for by its owner and well maintained by the Ferrari dealer during its current ownership (since 2011).

Service history: It had its major engine out service & inspection done in Jan, 2021 at 46,225 miles - replacing timing belts, spark plugs and fluids (oil, coolant, brake fluid, gear lube) at Cauley Ferrari in Bloomfield Hills, MI.  Its most recent service there was June, 2023 at 46,754 miles - replacing the fuel pump, cleaning the fuel injection system, and all engine grounds, making it run better/as it should. All dealer service records and receipts from February, 2012, plus others since April, 2011 are included.

Also included with the car are a red Ferrari car cover, all books, its leather tool case, complete with all its tools, spares (bulbs & belts), and two sets of keys.

Oh yeah, the perfect sports car also needs drop-dead looks, air conditioning that actually works, and a high-rpm wail sensuous enough to have you at 8000 rpm while backing out of the garage. That the F355 can produce its blistering performances and traditional Italian driving feel while also maintaining such a high level of intercity civility and ease of operation is a tribute difficult to overstate.”

It comes with a clean Carfax report with no accidents or damage reported, and a clean MI title. Note: While similar cars on the market may show lower mileage, that is often questionable (it is easy to disconnect the speedometers for a time). This car’s mileage and history is true and accurate.
