We are SO EXCITED to see many of you on Saturday, August 29th for our first ever Great Gatsby Fundraising Gala. We’re celebrating 25 years of ministry and we can’t wait to see you there! If you can't make it in-person, would you please pray with us and praise God for a miraculous evening of VISION, ENCOURAGEMENT, JOY and PRAYER.
We have so much to thank the Lord for because His hand has been on HPN and our creative community for the past 25 years, and we have so much to anticipate Him doing in the next 25 years! We just want to keep praising Him.

STERLING BOYNS, MISSIONARY TO ARTISTS
This week we want to celebrate a member of our community, Sterling Boyns! He is an actor and a missionary and has been a member of our HPN L.A. community for years, serving, loving, and praying for others! He is now off to YWAM on a creative mission, so we want to pray for him and thank him for his heart for Creatives and his deep love for the Lord.

JUSTIN BIEBER'S EVERYTHING HALLELUJAH
We want to celebrate the redemption of God for everyone who seeks Him. Let’s praise Him for what He’s doing in Justin Bieber's life. Justin was part of a joyous halftime show for the World Cup Finals, singing his now signature song “Everything Hallelujah.” Read this story of his journey from paralysis to praising God in front of the world, and thank the Lord that with Him ALL things are possible!

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE
We praise God that the new updated, wonderful family drama, Little House on the Prairie was #1 on Netflix last week. It premiered on Netflix on July 9th and it’s already been renewed for a second season. Watch the trailer and recommend this lovely series to your family and friends!

JOHN LEGEND AND TASHA COBB
Let’s pray for known performing artists John Legend and Tasha Cobb. Grammy-winning gospel artist and worship leader Tasha Cobb's new song Church features her friend John Legend. John grew up in a Pentecostal home and was even involved in music ministry, but through the years he started calling himself an agnostic. Church was recorded after having shared his agnostic views. So, let's pray that Jesus will solidify John’s childhood faith through his friendship with Tasha and this song. As you listen, it's clear that John and Tasha’s voices are a gift from God!

THE ODYSSEY
The Odyssey, a remake of the Homer epic, written, directed, and produced by Christopher Nolan, is the largest and most expensive film of Nolan’s career. However, its $250 million budget has far surpassed expectations at the Box Office with a current worldwide total of over $900 million dollars. It’s also the only film that pre-sold tickets a full year before its release date. Let’s pray for Christopher Nolan and his wife and co-producer Emma Thomas and the powerful influence they have on global audiences through their storytelling. Here is the trailer.
And we have included an insightful reflection of the film, “Homelessness of the Soul,” written by HPN member and friend John Seel. We believe it will inspire you, either before or after you see The Odyssey, as it focuses on the themes that are eternally significant.

TOM HOLLAND STARS IN TWO CURRENT HIT FILMS
Tom Holland is the household name of the week as he stars in both The Odyssey and Spider Man: Brand New Day. Both movies are breaking all Box Office records, so let’s pray for Tom as he navigates fame, public and industry expectations, and his identity. May the Love of God envelope him, hold him up, and point Tom to his creator!

ARIANA GRANDE STEPS OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT
Let’s pray for Ariana Grande as she ends her Eternal Sunshine musical tour in order to take a needed break from the public eye. She is also the co-star of Focker-In-Law with Robert De Niro. Ariana has been getting some public scrutiny for her life and her weight and we want her to find her identity in Jesus. She has a tremendous talent and we pray that she discovers the source of her talent, her life and her purpose.

The International Christian Film Festival (ICFF) is hosting a one-day conference for Christians working in the entertainment industry on August 8, from 10:30 AM–4:00 PM at Calvary Bible Church in Burbank. The day will include worship, fellowship, networking, and encouraging sessions from entertainment industry leaders, including DeVon Franklin, Karen Covell, Merlinda Balmas and other professionals from film, television, and media. Whether you work in the industry or simply have a heart for faith and entertainment, you are welcome. General admission is $30 for the full day.

Sight & Sound is Now on Wonder Project!
Sight & Sound Theatres is now streaming exclusively on Wonder Project. For over 50 years, families have traveled to Lancaster, PA and Branson, MO to experience their world-class biblical productions live. Now Wonder Project is bringing those stories home.
Jesus TRAILER HERE is the first title now available to stream. From there, a new Sight & Sound title will be released every two weeks through the fall; including Ruth, Moses, Noah, Queen Esther, David, Samson and Daniel.
To go along with this launch, we created a free resource for churches, small groups, and families called World of Wonder: Where Biblical Stories Come to Life. Miracle Makers International Film Festival
Miracle Makers International Film Festival, a faith and family friendly festival with intentionally open categories designed to bring people together through meaningful storytelling, returns September 2–6, 2026, at Regal in Newport Beach.
New this year is our partnership with EKKL Entertainment, offering a Streaming Distribution opportunity for the Top Feature Film winner, with Dave Mechem, Head of Acquisitions, joining as a featured speaker. Also speaking is HPN's own Karen Covell, Kelry Kirschenmann, and Brad Silverman, Chief Content Officer at Kappa Studios.
