Client Success in the Time of COVID-19
In March, Sanae completed the Nursing Aide program and passed her Certified Nursing Assistant exam. However, once the pandemic started, Sanae was left with no childcare and no way to apply for jobs.

When JVS launched the Talent Match Portal in April, Sanae worked with a JVS Career Navigator to create a profile to receive custom job alerts. Eventually, she landed a CNA job at nearly double the minimum wage in Massachusetts with an employer that is flexible around her childcare needs!
FutureUp, a free mentorship program for college students

JVS and Hillel Council of New England (HCNE) are partnering to offer critical employment resources to college students & recent college graduates during these unprecedented times. The mentorship program, FutureUp: Mentoring for Emerging Professionals, will pair juniors, seniors and recent college graduates with Jewish community leaders working in fields that match their personal interests.

Together we can bridge the digital divide

Currently, we are rolling out our new Laptop Lending Library to provide computers, hotspot connections, and tech support. The average cost to provide this service to one student is $1,500. Our goal by the end of 2020 is to ensure that no one is left behind the digital divide and unable to access to our services.
