We will share the mission and vision of John Wesley Church and introduce you to opportunities to connect, grow, and activate your faith within our community.

Join us as we visit The Bryan Museum, followed by lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf. 

The cost for the museum is $14 per person, which includes a guided tour.

For lunch, payment can be done separately.

Please be at the Pavilion by 7:45am.

Friday Night Out!

May 16 I 6pm-10pm

Friday Night Out Event is for children 6 months to 5th grade includes a full schedule of games, crafts, snacks, movies (on occasion) and supervised activities from 6 - 10 pm, as parents enjoy an evening out on their own. 

Women's Bible Study

Join us at 10:00 a.m. on April 30th for Jennifer Rothschild's seven-week study, Heaven, during which we will explore the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. As you walk through the study with us, you will gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children and learn how to live with confidence as you look forward to the glorious unendingness that awaits. United Women in Faith HOPE CIRCLE will have their April meeting on Tuesday, April 15 at the Hope Center.  

The Hope Center is located at 821 Peakwood Drive, Houston 77090. We will meet in the parking lot of John Wesley Methodist Church @ 9:15am, and carpool to the Center as the parking there is limited.  

Debbie Johnson, CEO of Hope Center, will tell us about their new Women of Hope ministry and give us a tour of the Center.

Food Distribution

Start your Saturday off right and join us for a morning of serving! We work hard, have great fellowship, in addition to helping others in our community. 

At Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), service is about much more than constructing beds for kids in need. Their mission extends to building communities, transforming lives, and creating opportunities for personal growth and learning.

Every bed we build demonstrates the power of service and the incredible potential that emerges when people come together with a shared purpose.

Join us on May 17, as we assist in providing beds for those in need! We will gather at The MET Church and come together to transport beds to children in the area. Be there by 8:30am to sign up with others from John Wesley!

Generations Reaching In Prayer 

GRIP meets on the first Thursday of each month at 10:00 am in the Prayer Chapel. All are welcome to come join this multi-generational prayer group who prays specifically for generations of children in our lives and in the world.

You are invited every Wednesday to the Prayer Chapel at noon for MIDWEEK SERVICE.
