Roll up your sleeves and activate your faith! Our friends at Habitat for Humanity have invited us for a John Wesley Work Day in Tomball! We'll sweep, vacuum, mop, wipe down counters and window sills, and clean bathrooms for a few hours so that the new tenants will be blessed with a clean home. We'll meet at the site on the morning of Thursday, March 23. Click HERE to let us know you'll be there.

Bring the whole family and have a great time at SPRING FLING! We'll gather together in the John Wesley Church Welcome Center and lawn for a petting zoo, bounce house, spring snacks, and crafts.
This event is free and open to the community, so invite some friends to enjoy the sunshine!

Your kids won't want to miss an out-of-this world adventure this summer at John Wesley's 2023 Stellar VBS! Kids will launch on a cosmic quest where they will have a blast shining Jesus' light to the world. It will be an amazing week with light years of faith building fun as kids encounter God in everyday life with incredible Bible-learning experiences. We welcome all kids and volunteers to come discover God's creativity in the world around us!

SAVVY SENIORS, let’s get together for lunch at Campioni! We’ll have a private room and a delicious buffet. After our meal Sergeant Jeff Lee, Criminal Investigations Division of Harris County will speak on basic internet safety for seniors including common scams, forgeries, and frauds that seniors are prone to. He will share about the role seniors play in their grandchildren's lives, and how to keep them safe online. If you are in your sixties or older, this is a great group to belong to! John Wesley Christian School Guest Readers
John Wesley Christian School is inviting visitors to read to our 3-year-old, 4-year-old, Bridge, and Kindergarten classes on special Thursdays and Fridays of each month. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours! Sign in at the front desk as a volunteer, and then someone will direct you to the classroom to read to the teachers and kids! We are so excited to have special guest readers this year!

EASTER EGG & CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED! NextGen will be in the Welcome Center this Sunday morning collecting candy and plastic eggs for Easter Sunday's JW Kids GIANT EASTER EGG HUNT! Please grab a bag or two on your next trip to the grocery store and help us make this year's hunt the best and biggest one yet! The last donation day will be April 2.

NAM Endowment Fund to Host a luncheon with Mattress Mack
The NAM Endowment Fund Board will host a luncheon with Mattress Mack on Tuesday, March 28 at Shirley Acres. The event will begin at 11:30 am with FOX 26 News Anchor, Melissa Wilson serving as event emcee. Jim McIngvale (Mattress Mack), the much celebrated owner of Gallery Furniture, is well known for his energetic, fast-paced sales pitches, typically ending with some variant of his catchphrase "saves you money!" McIngvale has been well honored for his community service and philanthropy. The event will also honor local teen author RJ Walker who has published two books at the age of 17.
