SUNDAY MORNING BAPTISMS
Last Sunday morning, we celebrated the baptisms of Margo Louise Sattler, daughter of Dabney and Craig Sattler, and Don Leonid Jones, son of Bobby and Nadine Jones. The congregations in both services promised to surround Margo and Don and their families with love and support, and we welcome them into our church family!

If your little astronaut isn't registered for VBS yet, this message is for you! VBS REGISTRATION CLOSES NEXT TUESDAY, MAY 30! We don't want anyone to miss this out of this world adventure, so be sure to CLICK HERE to register today! VBS happens JUNE 19 - 23, and is open to kids ages 3 - 5th grade.
ATTENTION SPACE ENTHUSIASTS...We're also rounding up awesome decorations to make VBS as SPACE-TACULAR as we can for our kids, so if you have any cool "spacey" items (ex: space suit costumes, helmets, etc) that you can donate or loan for the week, please contact NextGen directors, Chris and Lisa McCarthy.

The JW Student Summer Mission Trip is coming up soon! Experience the fun and fulfillment of fellowshipping (and getting good and grimey) with your friends, making new ones, learning some pretty handy skills, and being the hands and feet of Jesus by serving a community in need! Last Sunday's inaugural John Wesley Methodist Church 2023 Conference was an awesome evening of spirit-filled worship, sharing, faith commitment, and celebration of all of the things God has done for us and through us in the past year. We affirmed our new Core Leadership and Ministry Team Leaders, confirmed 8 students, and baptized 5. We cannot wait to see what God has in store for our church as we strive to connect people to Jesus for the remainder of this year and beyond!
