Education isn't something you finish.
This is Jabez, and yesterday his story inspired an incredible wave of support. This 18 year-old young man has been in foster care for two years and has already moved multiple times. But throughout all of the turmoil, he has remained laser focused on his education. This year alone, Jabez attended the largest school science fair in San Francisco, participated in the Wall Street Forum, and was recently invited into the National Society of High School Scholars. But Jabez has his most coveted accolade on the horizon - an invitation from St. John's University to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum. At the forum, Jabez will gain hands-on business and startup experience, learn from recognized business leaders and St. John’s business faculty, and make connections with fellow high-achieving, business-minded students from across the country. It is Jabez's dream to attend and yesterday, you made it a reality by donating more than $3,500 to send him there.

Last week we told you about our exciting plans to launch a scholarship program for those impacted by foster care. Today, we're very excited to share that, so far, over $120,000 has been committed to the 2021 One Simple Wish Scholarship Fund.
We want to keep investing in these brave, bold, beautiful souls. We want them to have every opportunity to learn and grow and give back to this world. We are excited to select the first awardees and follow and share their journeys with you.
