Jackson County Hidden Voice Recap

Our first ever Jackson County Hidden Voice event raised over $25,000 to invest back into Jackson County programs and initiatives fighting for healthy living, youth opportunities, and community resiliency.

We would like to thank our top sponsors, Gymnastics Lane, the City of Seymour, and the Jackson County Visitor's Center for their partnership in our inaugural year!

We had 175 guests attend to watch incredible performances by our eight contestants in two rounds:

  • Hops Bun Jovi- Susie Bowman
  • Sparky- Will be revealed in 2026!
  • Mrs. Kiss- Lizz Patterson (Runner-Up)
  • Rocky the Racoon- Jeff Campbell (Round 2 Contestant)
  • Groovy Giggles- Angie Villarreal (1st Place & Judges' Choice)
  • MoneyBot 3.0- Matt Robinson

Upcoming Events

Starting on April 9th through the end of 2025, JCUW will be hosting Community Conversations across Jackson County!

Community Conversations create a safe space where people in the community can come together to talk about their aspirations, their concerns, and how they want their community to move forward. These conversations are designed to engage people where they are and as community members and are a window into how people talk about issues that impact their lives. With this public knowledge, JCUW can use it to take action and create meaningful change in Jackson County.
