is Now Completed!

Classic Homes, in partnership with the Town of Monument, El Paso County, and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), is pleased to announce the successful completion of another segment of the Jackson Creek Parkway Widening Project.

Project A – Jackson Creek Parkway Interim Improvements

Improvements along Jackson Creek Parkway from Fat Tire Drive south to Slopeside Drive began in Spring 2023 and were completed in 2024.

Project D – Jackson Creek Parkway & Highway 105 Ultimate Section

Construction from Fat Tire Drive through the intersection of State Highway 105 began in Spring 2025 and has now been completed ... Spring 2026.

This important infrastructure initiative highlights the success of a strong public–private partnership to improve one of the community’s vital transportation corridors. The project included:

  • A segment of roadway widening
  • Additional travel lane
  • New turn lanes
  • Traffic signal improvements
  • Pedestrian crossings and sidewalks
  • Drainage improvements
  • Utility relocation
  • Reconstruction of the Jackson Creek Parkway and Highway 105 intersection

These improvements are designed to improve traffic flow, increase roadway capacity, and enhance safety for residents, businesses, and visitors traveling through the area.

Projects of this scale require patience and cooperation from the community and the traveling public. During construction, residents, commuters, schools, and local businesses experienced temporary traffic adjustments and disruptions. We sincerely thank the community—including the many businesses in the area—for your patience, understanding, and continued support throughout the construction process.
