We are grateful for you!
Our hearts are filled with gratitude this holiday season for the many ways our foundation donors, volunteers, and team members came together in 2023 to support Jackson Health System, our community’s lifeline. Your partnership enables our work and impacts people of all ages. You play a vital role in expanding, advancing, and innovating programs that provide world-class, patient-centered care to everyone who walks through Jackson’s doors, regardless of their ability to pay. With your help, Jackson caregivers are blazing new trails. It’s no wonder that our public health system receives over 500,000 patient visits each year and is recognized world-wide as a leading academic health system. None of this would be possible without you.
We are excited for what 2024 has in store for Jackson.
Together, we are making miracles happen.

Guardian Angels hosted the most successful Annual Guardians of the Children Luncheon and Fashion Show to date, raising more than $2.85 million.
On Monday, November 20, more than 500 philanthropists and community leaders gathered at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne for our 24th Annual Guardians of the Children Luncheon and Fashion Show, in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue. The glamorous event, hosted by Jackson Health Foundation's Guardian Angels, benefited the greatest areas of need at Holtz Children's Hospital at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. The highly anticipated, sold-out event featured a stunning collection of The Best of Saks.
This year's event celebrated the 25th anniversary of the naming of Holtz Children's, which was given its name because of the philanthropic support of Fana Holtz and her late husband Abel.

Making an Impact
Cristina Lama-Evensky's tireless commitment makes
our community stronger.
| |
Cristina Lama-Evensky exemplifies what it means to be a philanthropist by consistently offering her time, talent, and treasure to uplift the spirits of patients and their families dealing with difficult medical conditions, as well as alleviating some of the financial burdens through her generous actions. Just this year, Cristina impacted the lives of patients and families at Holtz Children’s Hospital by donating car seats, providing NICU families with journals, and delivering meals to the emergency department staff on Thanksgiving. The Foundation is truly grateful for Cristina Lama-Evensky, who also recently became a Guardian Angel, and we look forward to making big things happen for little people as a result of this partnership!
