Local businesses, non-profits and churches donate to enable the Back 2 School Committee to purchase school supplies each year. In 2020, the format changed where supplies were directly delivered to each compass to fill up the teachers closets. The needed supplies are provided by JISD and then the committee gets to work on securing donations to purchase the supplies. A shoutout to Leticia Meeks, Chair and committee members that raised funds to purchase the supplies: Grace Traylor, Lourdes Camacho, Dillon Rodriguez, Molly Loughmiller, Kim Nolley, Lauren Carter, Brittany Lankford, Christina Brooks, Karen Nolley and Shannon Hitt. The Back 2 School Committee is under the leadership of Pam Anderson, Education Development Division Chair and Barry Lofquist-Chamber Chairman of the Board.
