If you have not been down to the Bayfront lately, we have taken down our outside winter wrap and are enjoying serving out on our open patio with all the beautiful views.

Here is one to entice you!

Make sure you remember to treat Mom to a great meal with a view this Mother's Day and join us for Brunch. If you have a large party please call Wade @ 432-5226, so we can make sure and reserve a spot for you.

In May we will be making a few adjustments to our menu and wine list so make sure you check it out next time you visit.

With beautiful days, cool nights and so many things to do, you can't help but LOVE Pensacola in May.

Mother's Day Brunch

Pensacola's weather this spring has been nothing short of spectacular. Breezy days and cool nights make for an ideal Sunday brunch and Wahoo baseball game. May will bring plenty of baseball games, but what it also brings is a day I love to recognize, Mothers Day. Great tasting ingredients like peaches, melons, berries, sweet peas, squashes, and onions are plentiful during the spring and summer months, and also happen to be a few of my favorite ingredients. I'm excited to incorporate some of these items into lunch and dinner dishes, as well as brunch. These ingredients not only make great dinner recipes but also use them to start your day with great breakfast and brunch dishes. Here is a recipe that can be interchangeable for a brunch or dinner. Hope to see you at Jacos at some point in May especially on Mothers Day!!!

Watermelon and Avocado Salad

This pairs great with a Seafood Omelet or Blue Lump Crab Cakes

4 cups Watermelon (small dice)
2 cups Avocado (small dice)
1 cup Cucumber (small dice)
� cup Scallions (chopped)
1 lemon (juiced)
salt & pepper (to taste)

Featured Employee Brendan Heath

My name is Robert Brendan Flynn Heath. I go by my middle name Brendan and I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. I briefly attended Auburn University and received my associates of arts degree in general studies from Pensacola State College. I will have been cooking in the culinary industry for four years this July and plan to work in the field for many years to come. I'm in the process of applying to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York for the late Fall where I plan on studying to receive my Bachelors Degree in Culinary Arts. I love being in the kitchen and working at Jaco's has been a great learning experience. When I'm not at Jaco's working in the kitchen I like to play golf and spend time with my two-year-old Catahoula Brewskie. One day I hope to be a successful Chef and have a restaurant of my own in Pensacola.

Wednesday May 1st

Join us this month for Art � la carte. This months Featured Artist will be there to discuss their beautiful work inside Jaco's, and we will be sampling some great Spirits from 5-8pm. In case you miss it the art will be up and for sale for the entire month and the Spirit will be featured for the month.
