SA Families,

As we open the doors to a new school year at Salisbury Academy, we also open the next chapter in each child’s journey as a Jaguar.

To journey as a Jaguar is to discover passions through hands-on learning, build character through service, and grow in a community where each student is known and cared for. It means embracing challenge, leading with compassion, and finding joy in both the questions and the answers.

While no two paths are the same, the outcomes are shared. Salisbury Academy graduates are creative problem solvers, confident communicators, compassionate citizens, motivated students, and resilient individuals—well prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Drop into your child's classroom to meet their teachers and bring their supplies

*Upper School Parent and Student Orientation,

6:30-8:30 p.m.

6:30 p.m. arrival for new families

7:30 p.m. arrival for current families

Wednesday, August 13

First Day of School

*Half day for grades 3K-8, full day for 9-12

Dismissal times:

3K: 11:45 a.m.

JK: 12 p.m.

K: 12 p.m.

Grades 1-4: 12 p.m.

Grades 5-8: 12:15 p.m.

Upper School: 3 p.m.

ASK begins today. Students are asked to pack a lunch and water bottle if attending ASK.

*Dual-enrolled Upper School student orientation at Catawba College, 3:30 p.m.

For 11th and 12th graders taking classes at Catawba. Students only should attend. Meet at Catawba College.

Thursday, August 14

Second Day of School

*Half day for 3K-K, full day for grades 1-12

Dismissal times:

3K: 11:45 a.m.

JK: 12 p.m.

K: 12 p.m.

Lower School: 2:55 p.m.

Middle School: 3:10 p.m.

Upper School: 3 p.m.

Friday, August 15

Third Day of School

*Half day for 3K-K, Early Release Friday for Grades 1-12

Dismissal times:

3K: 11:45 a.m.

JK: 12 p.m.

K: 12 p.m.

Lower School: 1:05 p.m.

Middle School: 1:20 p.m.

Upper School: 1:30 p.m.

Join Us Sept. 4 for the First PSA Meeting of the Year

Join us for our first PSA Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 8:05 a.m. at the main campus. PSA meetings take place on the first Thursday of every month. After PSA, parents are invited to stay for chapel at 9:15 a.m.!

SA Spirit Day at Catawba Football on Sept. 13

Save the Date for SA Spirit Day at Catawba College, Sept. 13

SA students and families are invited to join in a 6 p.m. football game at Catawba College on Saturday, Sept. 13. SA student tickets will be available at no charge. Wear your SA colors to show your Salisbury Academy spirit!
