Wishing our SA Families a Wonderful Holiday Season!

As we head into our final week of school before Christmas break, Salisbury Academy wishes our school community a safe and happy break with those you hold dear. Please look for your next Jag Weekly on Sunday, January 1.

SA Alumni Night: This Thursday!

SA families are invited to join for an evening of Jaguar basketball and welcoming our SA alumni back to campus! Varsity girls and boys games will take place at 4 and 5 p.m. with the alumni game to follow.

Now Registering for Winter/Spring Enrichment Classes

SA families are invited to visit the SA Enrichment Page to sign up for upcoming winter and spring enrichment programming! Classes to be offered starting in January include Cheer Dance Cheer, BrickEd Lego Robotics, and a new offering of a drum class led by musician and ASK instructor Kevin Leichman.

RVO Drive: Helping our Friends at Rowan Vocational Opportunities

Salisbury Academy Christmas Happiness Party and Donations for RVO

Please join us in providing a little Christmas Happiness for some very special people. We are coming together again this year to collect donations for Rowan Vocational Opportunities. Our commitment to RVO and our Christmas Party with the RVO clients have become tradition; these individuals are truly grateful, and this organization is so deserving of our support. RVO provides employment, education, therapy, friendship, and many other services for adults with mental disabilities. The needs of these individuals are for basic items that many of us take for granted. We can work to make sure that each and every one of the 200 clients of RVO will receive a hardy bag of essential items.

We will also accept monetary donations (to the attention of Heather Coulter/checks made out to Salisbury Academy) which will be used to purchase priority and bulk items.

A highlight of this partnership is sharing a Christmas party together, which has been sorely missed. It is quite exciting for us to be able to spend this quality time with some dear individuals. Mrs. Coulter’s exploratory is currently planning for this event.

Seventh and eighth graders will take the party and donations to RVO on Wednesday, December 14. There is a particular need for personal items. We are asking for your help with the following:

Women's and men's deodorant
Kleenex tissue
Chapstick
Q-tips
Disposable razors
Shampoo and conditioner
Body lotion

Clothing Items

Men's sweatshirts (medium-3XL)
Women's sweatshirts (medium-3XL)
Thermal tops and bottoms for men and women (medium-3XL)
Jackets (medium-3XL)
Toboggans, gloves, scarves

Santa hats

Lost and Found Items to be Cleared

The Lost and Found will be cleared out at the end of December. SA uniform items will be placed in the uniform closet, and all other items will be dropped off at Goodwill. Please have your child take a look for anything that might be theirs before we head into break. Thank you!
