3K Students Open a Valentines Post Office
3K students have been learning about the post office and the U.S. Postal Service, and for the month of February have set up a post office in their dramatic play area. Students have been practicing cutting with scissors and writing their names while making letters for their families.
After students finish a letter, they choose an envelope, place a stamp on it, and mail the letter in the classroom mailbox. Students brought their letters home with them on Valentines Day and have loved this hands-on learning experience!
