Middle School Winter Ball

We're thrilled to announce the upcoming Winter Ball for grades 5-8 on Friday, February 23, from 7 - 10 p.m. Invitations have been sent home. We can't wait to see our students celebrate with music, laughter, dancing, and more! Admission will be $10 at the door.

To make this event truly special, we need your support. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with set-up, decorations, chaperoning, refreshments, etc. Your willingness to lend a hand will go a long way in making an evening of fun possible for our students. In addition to volunteers, we also appreciate item donations. Whether you can volunteer your time or donate items, we encourage you to visit this link:

In the Lower School

Exploration in Lower School Discovery Lab

Did you know that groundhogs build houses that are 30 feet long and live for up to six years in the wild? These are just a few of the facts that students learned in celebration of Groundhog Day in Friday's Discovery Lab. In addition to learning about groundhogs, students created their own groundhog puppets and experimented with light and shadow.

Each lower school class enjoys a weekly Discovery Lab with Ms. Dixon in the middle school science room where they engage in hands-on exploration and engineering. Their current focus is on animals and the environment.

Several first grade students shared what they most enjoy about Discovery Lab:

"We get to build and create!"

-Callum

"We love coming to the science room and being with the science pets."

-Alex

"We always explore different things, and it's fun!"

-Aislyn
