Supporting Healthy Tech Habits at SA

Technology plays a growing role in our students’ lives—from A.I. and devices to social media conversations they may hear about from friends or siblings. At Salisbury Academy, we’re committed to supporting students in developing healthy, age-appropriate, and high-character habits they can carry with them both online and offline.

We’re excited to share that SA has partnered with The Social Institute (TSI), a leader in helping schools and families navigate technology, social media, and well-being in thoughtful, balanced ways. This partnership provides flexible, family-friendly resources designed to support—not replace—each family’s unique values and approach to technology.

How Your Family Can Participate:

• Register your free account for The Toolkit. Many families refer to this as the CliffsNotes of social media and technology! Go to the Toolkit, click Activate Account, and enter our school code: 4fe8D42256A1C4

• Continue the conversation at home: Each month, Family Huddle questions may be emailed to you as a follow-up to student lessons. These short, optional prompts can spark meaningful conversations and reinforce your family’s values.

• Encourage your child to become a Student Ambassador. Ambassadors serve as positive role models and build leadership skills by inspiring future lessons that encourage peers to make healthy choices. Learn more here.

Raising Mentally Strong Kids

Community Book Read and Discussion on

Thursday, March 19

Salisbury Academy is thrilled to invite parents and caregivers to take part in a community book read and discussion of Raising Mentally Strong Kids by Charles Fay and Daniel Amen.

In this insightful and practical book, the authors explore how factors like sleep, stress, genetics, and overall wellness shape a child’s developing brain — and how loving, logical guidance can help children grow into confident, resilient, and compassionate young adults.
