SA Community Book Event: Raising Mentally Strong Kids


Join us on Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. in the Salisbury Academy

gymnasium for an engaging evening focused on helping children grow into resilient, confident, and emotionally healthy individuals.


Our discussion will highlight Raising Mentally Strong Kids by Dr. Daniel Amen and Dr. Charles Fay (of Love & Logic). Whether you’ve read the book or not, you’re welcome to join us! You’ll leave with practical strategies and insights you can use right away to support your child’s development.

The Wizard of Oz

Salisbury Academy students are part of the cast of The Wizard of Oz at Shuford School of Performing Arts! This beloved classic will be performed April 10 at 7:30 p.m., April 11 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m., and April 12 at 2:00 p.m. in Catawba’s Keppel Auditorium. Come on out to support our students and enjoy this timeless classic!

Shoot-a-thon Pledges Open This Week

The Salisbury Academy Shoot-a-thon is returning this year!


Last Shoot-a-thon, thanks to the incredible generosity of SA families and friends, our community raised $11,000 to support SA athletics, helping provide meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes to grow in teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit. Let’s see if we can top that total this year!

Shoot-a-thon Event: March 30–April 1


Students will be collecting pledges and then taking their best shots during the Shoot-a-Thon to support Salisbury Academy athletics.

SA Summer Camp

Summer Camps for Rising JK and K


7 weeks of fun for rising JK and kindergarten students await in SA's early education summer programming!


Weeks offered: June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26, July 6-10, July 13-17, and July 20-24, July 27-31


Days and Times: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.


Program cost: $250/week

Salisbury Academy is excited to offer 6 weeks of engaging programming for our students in rising 1st-8th grades:

Days and Times: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to noon

Read Across America

Mrs. Sharp Shares:


Hey Jaguars! March is National Reading Month! Salisbury Academy is celebrating in a variety of ways this year and enjoyed a Read Across America Day kick-off on Monday, March 2 where library classes will learn about the life and influence of Dr. Suess.


Throughout the month, students are encouraged to participate in a BOOK BINGO challenge! All participants will receive a small prize as well as entrance into a “Book Nook” raffle! Two SA bookworms will receive a book bag full of goodies including gift cards, books, snacks, blankets, stuffies, and more! Join us throughout March in the joys of reading!

CD Case Collection


Salisbury Academy is seeking empty CD cases to use for seed germination as part of our upcoming Earth Day Fair on Thursday, March 26. If you have CD cases to donate, please drop them in the SA front office.

PSA Corner

A Night for the Women of SA: Mahjong & Mingle


Join us for a special evening designed just for the women of Salisbury Academy! On Friday, March 27, gather at the SA Community Connection Center for a fun and fellowship-filled night of Mahjong and meaningful connection.


The evening begins with a relaxed mingle from 6:30–7 p.m., complete with hors d’oeuvres, followed by beginner-level Mahjong from 7–8:30 p.m. Whether you’re brand new to the game or ready to sharpen your skills, you’ll learn as you play in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.


Tickets are $50 per person, and space is limited to just 40 participants—so don’t wait to reserve your spot!
