In the Upper School

SA Upper School Wellness Class Learns about the Workings of Insurance

Pictured above, SA Upper School's wellness class learned from John Drye of Central Carolina Insurance Agency this week about all types of insurance and how to ensure they are covered for the expenses of life in adulthood. Students also learned about careers in the insurance field and explored internship opportunities for the future.

The wellness class has an overall focus on exploring strategies for maintaining personal wellness. As other recent topics covered, the wellness class has studied passion and purpose, yoga, strength training at The Forum (pictured), and health systems. Up next, students will learn about the importance of sleep and rest as well as explore the worlds of pilates and nutrition.
