SA Travel: Hear what makes this adventure a must!

SA Travel is heading out West, June 8-14, 2024. Deposits are due Nov. 30. In today's Jag Weekly, hear below from the Yang family on what makes SA Travel trips a must for your family!

SA parent Lori Yang shares:

Last summer my son, Luke, a current SA 8th grader, and I went on the summer trip to Maine. With my oldest daughter able to go, she took the trip with us. Not only were the sights of Maine amazing, but the company of the other SA families was so wonderful. We loved getting to know everyone better. Our guide was so thorough and overly accommodating with our group. Not a one of us had to worry about any of the details. We just showed up and enjoyed!

I would say the two biggest highlights of the trip were the unbelievable amount of organization and patience from our guide and the experiences shared with our new SA friends! Even with the cold, rainy weather our guide still made sure we had a good time and didn’t miss out on anything. I would highly recommend the summer trip of 2024!

In the Middle School

Dr. Michael G. Thompson Leads a Conversation with SA's Middle School

In addition to leading two evening sessions for adults on Thursday of this week, Dr. Michael G. Thompson led SA's middle school students in a conversation about navigating the social dynamics of the middle school years and some of the challenges that this chapter of life may bring about.

In the session, Dr. Thompson facilitated a healthy dialogue about topics that are front and center of middle school minds: what it means to have friends and be a friend, what it means to be popular, and how parents and kids relate to one another about kids’ social lives. Dr. Thompson asked questions and validated the students’ responses, allowing them to help shape the discussion and share their insights.
