Joining in Prayer with Students Around the World

SA students joined in a student-led, global day of prayer this week by gathering around the flagpole or having prayer time and discussions in morning meeting.

Seussical the Musical at SA: Auditions for Students in Grades 3-8

Families of students in grades 3-8 interested in participating in Seussical the Musical: Save the date for auditions on Friday, October 14 at 1:20 p.m.! The play will be performed over the course of two nights in April with practices on Friday afternoons throughout the school year.

Lunch and Learn for SA Families and the Larger Community: Managing Stress and Anxiety in our Students

SA families are invited to join Dr. Rachel Brejcha at Salisbury Academy on Monday, October 24 from 12-1 p.m. for a lunch and learn presentation on stress and anxiety management, specifically as it pertains to children and students. Dr. Brejcha will share detailed information on anxiety as well as the ways in which we can best help our students. Lunch will be provided. To attend, RSVP to Allison Doby at [email protected].

Character Pumpkin Display

Students in grades 1-8 are invited to decorate a pumpkin as their favorite book character and bring it to school on Thursday, October 20. Please write your name, grade, and character’s name on an index card and bring the card with your pumpkin. Pumpkins will be sent home with students on October 27. Happy decorating!
