It’s Pumpkin Time at Salisbury Academy!

Students in grades K-8 are invited to decorate a pumpkin as their favorite book character and bring it to school on Monday, October the 23. Please write on an index card your name, grade and character’s name. Pumpkins will be sent home with students on the 30th. Happy decorating!

SA Annual Fund

Ever wonder what the best way to give to the Annual Fund is? Most commonly, people make a gift via cash, check, or online. Make your giving even easier by electing to make monthly, recurring installments. Additionally, inquire with your employer about an employer match, and consider giving through a transfer of securities!

Thank you to this week's Annual Fund donors

In the Middle School

Pictured above, the Green Team exploratory leads an environmental lesson and planting activity with kindergarten students.

Middle school exploratory classes empower students to take a weekly dive into a topic of their choice! The classes encourage critical thinking and creativity, preparing students for a lifelong journey of curiosity-driven discovery.

Current middle school exploratory offerings include NC Myths and Legends with Mrs. Coulter, a Green Team with Ms. Dixon that is taking on sustainability and environmental education initiatives, Wednesday Workouts with Mrs. Starrett, and a Student Leadership exploratory led by Mrs. Goodman that is taking action on leadership opportunities on campus from chapel involvement, to event planning, and more.

Pictured above, students get their heart rates up and energy boosted in the Wednesday Workout exploratory.
