Save the Date for JK-8 SA Grandpersons Day on Friday, October 17

We are excited to welcome the grand people in our JK-8 students’ lives for Grandpersons Day on Friday, October 17, 2025! This special morning of celebration will include a chapel program, classroom visits, and time at the Book Fair. We can’t wait to share this meaningful tradition with our families and their guests.

Doors open: 9:30 a.m.

Program begins: 10 a.m.

Classroom visits/Book Fair: 10:45 a.m.

Noon dismissal

Fall Picture Day: This week on September 17

Fall Picture Day is this week on Wednesday, Sept. 17! This is a dress uniform day for all students in grades 1-8. Families will receive proofs and have an opportunity to order pictures after Picture Day.

Fall sports pictures will also be taken on Picture Day. Details for sports pictures will be shared next Sunday in Jag Weekly.

Calling All Scouts: Join the SA Flag Duty Team!

Salisbury Academy is forming a Flag Duty Team and is inviting students in grades 5-8 who are currently active in the Scouting America program to take part.

This is a meaningful opportunity for students to lead with pride, demonstrate responsibility, and honor our country through daily flag-raising and lowering ceremonies.

SA Travel: Join us October 9 for an interest meeting

SA Travel Interest Meeting on October 9

Families interesting in learning about the upcoming SA Travel opportunity to Pennsylvania are invited to a travel interest meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 8:45 a.m. in the SA gym.

On this adventure, families will travel through Pennsylvania’s Amish Country, Hershey, and Gettysburg. Trip dates: July 29–August 2, 2026

Back to School SA Parent Party: Brought to you by the PSA!

Mark your calendars for a fun night out with fellow SA adults! Join us for a Back to School: Parent Edition party on Friday, September 26, from 6–9 p.m. at the Heritage Room in downtown Salisbury. Hosted by the PSA, this adults-only evening includes live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres, two drink tickets, and the always-popular bourbon raffle.
