Athletics Awards Info: Celebrating our Jaguar athletes
|
Dear SA Families,
Recognizing our Jaguar athletes at the end of each school year is an important annual milestone at SA and one that uplifts the incredible sportsmanship, dedication, and talent of our sports teams. With this in mind, I'm excited to share with you that this year we will have our first-ever virtual athletics awards ceremonies!
We will release the award ceremony videos on the SA Facebook page and Vimeo over two days:
Fall sports on Thursday, May 7
, and
winter sports on Friday, May 8
. Both of these will also be shared in the Sunday, May 10 Jag Weekly.
Looking forward to celebrating our athletes and coaches and the impressive efforts put forth this year!

Earth Week at SA: Great job, Jaguars!

SA students, families, faculty, and staff celebrated Earth Day all week long! Whether taking nature walks, picking up litter, creating nature art, or planting and gardening, the Jaguars showed our appreciation for - and dedication to preserving - the environment.

Reminders for Middle School Families:
- Face-to-face interactions are so important in our virtual classrooms! Please complete the digital permission form here so that teachers can request that students turn their cameras on during class.
- The skills lists and mastery-based grading scale were emailed by Mrs. Goodman this week. Please be sure to review these and reach out with any questions.
- Enhancement classes are up and running on Google Classroom! Students should be completing weekly activities in Spanish, PE, and Art. Enhancement teachers are available via email to answer any questions.
