Keeping Calm Amidst Chaos: February 27, 6:30 p.m. at SA
|
|
|
Dear SA Parents,
Join us on Thursday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. for an important presentation on childhood anxiety as Dr. Michele Mannering answers the question for parents of children of all ages: How can we help our children find balance and remain well in a world where kids are stressed and overscheduled?
Her presentation will cover the early signs of stress in children and help us recognize when typical childhood worry may have crossed into more serious anxiety. Dr. Mannering will discuss what we can do as parents to help our children maintain balance, mitigate anxiety, and develop coping skills and resilience.
Hope to see you there!
Warm Regards,
Beverly Fowler, Head of School

SA Stories: The Zino Family
|
"All four of our children attended SA and were loved as individuals in a safe and open environment. They have all acquired a lifelong love of learning thanks to their interactions with the Salisbury Academy family and community. We are grateful and excited that our final two - Brooks and Bryce - still have a few more years and will continue to grow each day via the uniquely special, guided discovery and interactions of the SA experiential learning environment."

Students, faculty, and staff showed their creative, colorful, and silly sides this week during SA Spirit Week! Whether sporting their favorite team's gear or strolling into school in their bathrobes and PJ's, the Jaguars have kept every minute interesting.
The week kicked off with "Dress Like a Centenarian Day" in honor of the 100th day of school and finished with a Jag Spirit Day and pep rally celebrating our winter athletes. Thanks to all for a fantastic first 100 days of school and to all the Jaguars for making Spirit Week 2020 a jag-tastic success!
