Celebrating our 100th Day of School |
The 100th day of school is especially meaningful this year given the challenges of the pandemic and the many ways in which our students, parents, teachers, and staff have come together to make a successful first 100 days possible. Congrats, Jags, on over 100 days of learning together as a school community in 2020-21!
Pictured here (above and below), did you know that North Carolina has 100 counties exactly? As part of their 100th day of school celebration, second grade enjoyed a scavenger hunt all about the 100 counties of NC and created pictures of themselves as 100-year-olds.

The study of African American history, literature, and artists takes place year-round at SA, and Black History Month is an extra special opportunity to reflect and grow mindfully as a community. In the third grade, students are researching influential African American people of the past and present and preparing to start their biography writing by learning how to find useful and reliable information! |
