The inventors of fourth grade have begun their “Eureka!” unit and are studying inventors and their processes while taking on their own daily invention challenges. Pictured here, students work in groups to create and present on an invention to pick a ping-pong ball up, pass it around, and release it without touching it using only rubber bands, toilet paper, and pencils. Stay tuned to see what they create in the weeks ahead!

Re-Enrollment and Our SA Journey: The Saner-Childers Family Shares
SA Parent Dr. ChaMarra Saner-Childers shares about her family's SA journey:

"Beginning with the admissions and onboarding, Salisbury Academy has been wonderful since our initial inquiry. But everybody is good during the 'selling' phase, right?! Well, SA stands up to its brand. It's a place where the Head of School calls you to check in when your kid(s) are out sick, or a place where they make sure that your child has a grandparent for the annual grandparents day festivities because theirs recently passed away. A place where the faculty nurture your children to grow educated opinions of their own and to be good stewards both in the classroom and in the community. A school that is much more than a 'school.' Salisbury Academy also serves to cultivate the morals and values, respect, and lifelong skills that we teach our kids and deem valuable for them to know. This place, that teaches inclusivity from the classroom to the playground, this faculty that keeps us informed of both sides of our children’s progress, this staff that works so very hard to make Salisbury Academy a place where I want to send my children but most importantly a place that they love and where they want to go. Salisbury Academy is indeed a place that engages our children’s minds and shapes their futures."
January and February Lunch Menus
Habeeb Catering is serving lunches for students in grades 1-8 on M-Th. With questions contact Habeeb Catering. Thank you!

Note for Lunches:
If you plan to sign your child up for pasta days, please specify whether your child would like alfredo or meat sauce on each day by circling their choice on the menu. This will be helpful as we plan for portions. Thanks so much!

Email Reminder: Marking SA as an approved sender
Dear Parents,

Over the course of this school year several parents have reported that classroom communication emails from teachers have been going into their junk email folders. If you have not received a teacher communication recently, please take a moment to check your email's junk folder and mark Salisbury Academy as an "approved sender."

Thank you!
