Giving Thanks at SA
Students and staff have been reflecting upon our blessings and over the past weeks have shared the many ways in which we are grateful through a fun mix of community building activities, artwork, and discussion. Below are a few gratitude highlights from the week leading up to Thanksgiving including a whole-school gratitude wreath project!
SA Annual Fund: Why We Give
What's your reason for supporting the SA Annual Fund? The Vilchez family shares theirs:
"We chose Salisbury Academy because of its core values, and we love this school. It's one thing to teach our children the basics, but Salisbury Academy goes above and beyond. This school delivers rich and engaging content for children to feel the full experience of what they are learning. Our daughter is blossoming!"

SA Middle School Christmas Outreach for RVO
SA's Middle School asks you to consider joining us in providing some necessities for some very special people! Mrs. Coulter shares:

Our commitment to RVO (Rowan Vocational Opportunities) has become a Christmas tradition; these individuals are truly grateful, and this organization is so deserving of our support. RVO provides employment, education, therapy, friendship, and many other services for adults with mental disabilities. The needs of these individuals are for basic items that many of us take for granted, and now more than ever, they need our support. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to share a Christmas Party with them this year, but we are asking for your help with the following:

Travel-sized Toiletries:
  • Women's and men's deodorant
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Hand lotion

Clothing Items
  • Men's sweatshirts, hoodies, and sweatpants (medium to 3XL)
  • Women's sweatshirts, hoodies, and sweatpants (medium-3XL)
  • Thermal tops and bottoms for men and women (medium-3XL)
  • T-shirts (medium-3XL)
  • Jackets (medium-3XL)
  • Toboggans and gloves

  • Microwaves (we have a goal to collect 3)

These items will be collected in the homeroom classrooms and can be dropped off with Mrs. Coulter at any time. Monetary donations will also be accepted and will be used by Mrs. Coulter to purchase priority items. Please contact her with any questions. Please send all items by Friday, December 11.

PSA Staff Christmas Gift
Staff Christmas Gift Fund - an all-in-one holiday gift!
Now through Friday, December 4, PSA will be collecting voluntary donations toward a Christmas Gift Fund for the teachers and staff members of Salisbury Academy. We all know how difficult it can be to find just the right gift for each teacher, so, to make your life a bit easier, you can show your appreciation to the entire staff in ONE CHECK!
PSA will pool all the money received and deliver Christmas cheer to each
teacher and staff member. Please make your check payable to "Salisbury Academy-PSA" and write "PSA Staff Gift" in the memo section. Tracey Peoples will accept the checks at the front desk, or you may send in an envelope with your child with "PSA Staff Gift" on the front. A note with names of all contributing families will accompany each staff gift. Thanks so much, and happy holidays!
