Supporting our Friends at Rowan Vocational Opportunities
Dear Salisbury Academy Families,

One of multiple Christmas service projects that SA students engage in each year, the Rowan Vocational Opportunities Christmas party is a tradition that is near and dear to our hearts. Rowan Vocational Opportunities (RVO) provides employment, education, therapy, friendship, and many other services for adults with mental disabilities.

Through our annual Christmas party led by middle school students, Salisbury Academy supplies RVO participants with much-needed items while bringing great joy and cheer to the organization through a fun-filled Christmas celebration. At the party, students run stations with snacks, drinks, games, and crafts, all while lifting spirits through friendly conversation and laughter.

Please review the RVO section below to see how you can contribute to this meaningful cause. Donations may be brought to the front office or given directly to Mrs. Coulter. Thank you for your support!
Warm Regards,

Beverly Fowler, Head of School

Tree Trimming and a Season of Service
If you haven't quite caught onto the holiday spirit, SA students will you have you feeling the cheer in no time! Students are already spreading holiday joy, both within our school community and by serving the needs of our greater area.

JK/K students brought laughter, lights, and holiday crafts to SA through their Tree Trimming Party on Thursday. In the community, Mrs. Goodman's exploratory brought joy to Prevent Child Abuse Rowan's Terrie Hess House by decorating their facilities, and the fifth grade worked hard and exercised awesome creativity to create their camping-themed tree for the Arc of Rowan's Festival of Trees: "Current's Christmas Campers" tree. Today is the final day of the festival. Come on out and see the fifth grade camping tree in person from 1 to 5 p.m. at the F&M Trolley Barn!

Next week, first and eighth grade students will read and sing to participants at Trinity Living Center, and third grade will carol at Carillon Assisted Living. The holiday fun has just begun!
