Reflecting on Students' Growth and Achievements
Dear Salisbury Academy Parents,

Each year at this time we come together as a school community to celebrate the growth and achievements made by each student during the school year. Middle school students have held Reflections with their advisory groups over the past several weeks and have several Reflection groups upcoming next week, and grades first through fifth will hold Reflections on Monday, June 3.

This special time focuses on the importance of your student's unique learning process and provides the opportunity to identify what they did well while celebrating goals reached. Our middle school students continue to build upon their prior year's goal setting with a focus on individual goal setting and solutions to their own personal growth.

We aim to have children leave Salisbury Academy with a strong sense of self and with the ability to celebrate success, appreciate the struggles, and set goals for the future. Our annual Reflections project is just one of the many tools we use to develop students to be lifelong learners, develop strong character, serve their community, and deepen their faith.

Lower School and fifth grade Reflections will take place on Monday, June 3. Reflections times are:

First and second grade: 8:30 to 8:50 a.m. in gym
Third and fourth grade: 8:05 to 8:25 a.m. in gym
Fifth grade: 8:30 to 8:50 a.m. in classrooms

Middle School Reflections remaining:
Advisory groups led by Mrs. Hattaway, Mrs. Goodman, and Mrs. Overcash will hold Reflections in the advisory teacher's classroom from 8:05 to 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21.
Warm Regards,

Beverly Fowler, Head of School
