JagPantry
Launched in 2017, the JagPantry is a support resource for students experiencing food insecurity. The JagPantry provides short-term relief by offering fresh and packaged foods as well as vital toiletries and hygiene products.
Studies have shown that a student's academic success may be affected if they are struggling with hunger or other basic needs. It is important that students feel valued, respected, and supported during this hardship.
If your student is looking for volunteer opportunities the JagPantry is a great option! Student volunteers help by sorting donations, stocking the pantry shelves, and assisting other students with scanning out their items. Your student can sign up to volunteer through South Serves.
