New Public Art In Baytown!

This 3-D Downtown Arts District Mural was recently completed at 207 W. Texas Avenue by Armando Castelan . It makes for a colorful addition to the Town Square area and to Baytown's Public Art Program. Jail Break Run

Project Blue's Jail Break Run Half Marathon, 5K, and Ruck is held each year in February, and this year’s race on Saturday, February 23 is bigger and better than ever. This event takes runners to the top of Baytown's Fred Hartman bridge giving participants breathtaking views of the Houston Ship Channel and surrounding cities. Arts & Eats Fest

Last year, the Tourism Division partnered with Parks and Recreation to host a Food Truck Festival and Sidewalk Art Contest in the Downtown Arts District's Town Square. We had 10 artists and several food trucks.

This year, the name has changed to Arts and Eats Fest and will be held on March 23 in the Downtown Arts District. Festivities include food trucks, chalk art, firetruck pull, live music, and more! All monies raised will benefit the Rising Stars, a special needs art class for adults, and the Special Olympics.
