James Lee Historical Marker Unveiling
Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services invites you to join Providence District Supervisor Dalia Palchik, Congressman Connolly, and the James Lee Community Center Advisory Council for a Historical Marker Unveiling Ceremony for the James Lee Elementary School this Saturday, Oct. 2 at 11am.

Parking: This event takes place outdoors at the James Lee Community Center. Ample parking is available in the lot.

COVID-19 Precautions: Please wear a face covering or mask while on site and keep a six-foot distance from others. Thank you for your cooperation!
Out of the Darkness Fairfax Walk
I will be participating in the Out of the Darkness Fairfax Walk this Saturday, Oct. 2 at 12:30pm - 2:30pm together with Supervisors Smith and Walkinshaw, to fight suicide and support American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025.

If you can, please join us in support of AFSP's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. #TogetherToFightSuicide
Celebrate Trees
Come Celebrate Trees in Oakton this Saturday, Oct. 2 from 9am to 11am as we walk through nature and plant native trees. Make sure to bring gloves and water!

Where: meet at the intersection of Miller Heights Rd. and Miller Rd.
Stuff the Bus
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for food in Fairfax County. Stuff the Bus is a collaborative program in partnership between Fairfax County Government and local nonprofits. Help feed hungry families by donating to Stuff the Bus.

Save the date for the next Tysons Block Party at The PARC!
Celebrate Fairfax is bringing a Festival favorite to this 2-day event - the Silent Disco!

Friday, Oct. 22, will start at 4PM with local brews and lawn games, and then at 7PM we turn up the tunes “silently” and dance to our hearts content.

Saturday, Oct. 23, afternoon is full of family Fall activities - pumpkin painting, balloon twisting, wiggle cars, and local makers.
