Volunteer at the VT 50 September 30th!
|
Join the AMTA-VT Sports Massage Team, it's FUN!
The Vermont 50 is a 50 mile Mountain Bike, Ultra-Run, Team Relay race and more! This incredible race was started by Laura Farrell in 1992. The Vermont 50 helps bring multiple states and communities together all in one place, where they can meet people they have raced with in the past and present. The AMTA has been helping with the Vermont 50 for years now.
We'd love your help this year! The massage tent could not happen without all of the fabulous volunteers!
This event is held at the Mt.Ascutney Inn in Brownsville, VT, September 29th, 2019. If you are helping for the day we would need you at Mt.Ascutney from 11 am to 4 pm or later.
The massage tent at the VT 50 helps the runners/bikers out at the finish line as the competition takes huge strains on their bodies. You may be the reason they can move the next day! As a volunteer, you also help the day run smoothly while enjoying some pretty cool things, including meeting new people, listening to awesome music and eating free amazing food. You will also learn new skills in sports massage while helping the athletes who are tired, sore, and so appreciative!
You are helping out not only us, but the bigger region of the Vermont 50 and the Vermont Adaptive communities. We want to say thank you in advance for being one of the volunteers at this year's Vermont 50.
Contact Denise Gebroe for more details and to be a part of the Team :)
