PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Principal Disch
Mustangs,

The 4th six weeks begins on February 1st, and the selection period for in-person or virtual instruction is open this week. For those of you who would like to change your child’s mode of learning, please log in to HISD Connect and make your selection. The window will close on Monday, January 18th. If you would like your child to continue with the same learning mode they are currently in, no action is needed. After we have the updated information, your child’s homeroom teacher will send the updated number of students in the class and the spacing between desks. Your child’s progress reports will also be available on HISD Connect. Log in at the end of the day this Friday to see your child’s grades.

Our virtual Kindergarten Round-up for the 2020-2021 school year will be this Thursday at 1:00. If you know any prospective parents, please help us by sharing this information, which includes the link to the Teams meeting.

A lot of amazing school events are coming up. We have a spirit night tomorrow at Mia’s, International Festival is next week, and Souper Bowl of caring is just around the corner. All the events will look a little different this year, so make sure you check out the details and updates, which can be found in this newsletter.

Thanks for your continued support of WUES!
