Happy New Year!! I hope each and every one of you had a great holiday filled with family, friends and loved ones. I also hope you were able to relax and reset!
I'm looking forward to a great week ahead. I feel like we have been apart far too long. After kicking the year off with our first Business Meeting of 2020, we will be celebrating our 90
th
birthday on Friday the 10th at Roseann Bradley’s house. See the invite for address and details! Thank you, Roseann for opening your home to us! The following week, our events committee has a big birthday celebration surprise for us. I am eager to find out what their plans are since they literally kicked me out of one of their meetings.
Speaking of committees, I just have to say thank you to all of you who have stepped up to a leadership role and have taken it so seriously, this makes my life so much easier!
It has been suggested that we reach out to our Soroptimist in Australia and see what we can do to help them during this time of such devastation. Unfortunately, we know too well what they are going through. We will discuss ideas of the best way to help on Wednesday. If you have suggestions, bring them!
Finally, I'm looking for a few great volunteers to work on our nominating committee. It's hard to believe, but it's time to start forming the board for next year. Let me know if you're willing to help.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at our business meeting on Wednesday!
In service,
