I hope the Holidays were what you desired. We sure had a wonderful visit to Boise Idaho. We were with two of our sons, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. We met Opal June who will be two this month and Jasper Blu who is just three months. What fun to be with family especially with so many generations.
While I was gone, several boxes of yarn arrived. Thanks to Alyson, Coleen and Andrea, it was priced and shelved when I got back. What a treat! Thank you. We received Berroco's Vintage in every weight, Rios in many colors and more Woolfolk. I left one out, several new colors of Berroco's Aerial mohair and silk blend. Several of us have been holding mohair with another yarn to add texture and size, I just finished two hats and a cowl holding Bahh's La jolla and Halo, Vintage and Aerial and Dream with Aerial. Pictures of all in show and tell.
We also received a shipment of Coco Knits tools, markers of every kind and size, point protectors, counters, fixet hooks and other items.
We are loving our new project bags by Emma Ball out of England. They are lined, have draw strings and are so adorable with the alpaca, penguins and sheep. Perfect for most size projects. Finally, we are expecting our January Pop Up color from Dream. I know it is in a deep blue celestial color.
We had a small pizza party here Saturday. It was to celebrate Jerry finishing her tunic. It took a village to get it made. A difficult, confusing pattern but we got it done. Congratulations Jerry.
Malabrigo is starting a KAL in March. It is a lovely shawl that will not be released until February. It looks interesting. We are also looking at a few other shawls, one is rectangular and the other is a twist on triangular. Both have a soft cuddly look. We'll be happy to share when you stop by.
Enjoy the month,
Linda K
Hope you will all come stop by
