From the Corner Office

It seems more than fitting to talk about our hearts in this newsletter. Most days, we are acutely aware that everything in our lives flows from the heart. Our physical health is measured by factors such as pulse and blood pressure, yet the heart is more than a physical organ.

We often ask one another, “How’s it going?” “What’s up?” or “How ya doin’?” I wonder what might happen if we started asking a deeper question: How’s your heart? It’s a question that invites reflection, and honestly, that’s not a bad thing to promote.

During times of crisis, whether we see them around us or experience them in our own lives, it’s easy for the heart to drift off course. There are many crises in our world today. Within that reality, there is also an opportunity to care more deeply and to support one another in a truly heartfelt way.

The word heartfelt often appears in sympathy cards, moments when we connect personally, embrace vulnerability, and respect the depth of feeling being shared. Those moments remind us how powerful it is to acknowledge the heart.

I invite you to ask yourself, How’s my heart? Embrace a deeper understanding of who you are, because so much of who we are lives there. I challenge us all to begin asking one another, How’s your heart? Experience the beauty that comes

from what is truly heartfelt.
