There is something about old things that I am drawn to more and more as I get older. Hmm - maybe a connection there. Old sewing machines, old furniture, old quilts, and old friends - love them all! I love this old machine one of our customers brought to class this week. It belonged to her mother-in-law and sews like a pro!
I had lunch with this handsome
young man this week. His mother was a dear friend who we lost to cancer several years ago. She left quite a legacy in her two awesome sons. I claim Dylan as part mine! He's a great young man who treated me this time! I saw this sign at the restaurant where we ate that ties in to the whole getting old thing. LOL!
Lynn stopped in this week and shared some things she found in her mother's attic. Look at this old yo-yo quilt and the two beautiful folded pillows! Pictures don't do these old beauties justice.
There's just something lovely about old things!

Staff can answer questions and help you briefly but they will be working on the floor taking care of other business. This is not class time so please be respectful of our staff members. You can order lunch or bring your own. Come sew with us!
