"ALLOT A LOT"

DEFINITION:

allot /ə-lŏt′/

transitive verb -

  1. To parcel out; distribute or apportion.

"allotting land to homesteaders; allot blame."

  1. To assign as a portion; allocate.

"allotted 20 minutes to each speaker." volunteers.

  1. To distribute by lot.

WILL YOU “ALLOT A LOT”?

ALLOT – YOUR TIME (FTN always needs responsible volunteers;

come visit our new warehouse);

ALLOT – YOUR IDEAS TO RAISE FUNDS (businesses and individuals contribute effective fund-raising ideas which they carry out from their locations);

ALLOT – YOUR DIRECT CONTRIBUTION (much of FTN’s operating expenses come directly from generous individual donors and businesses);

ALLOT – YOUR BUSINESS ACUMEN (as an active FTN board member to help us operate the business efficiently and contribute fund-raising ideas – we’ll keep you busy);

ALLOT – YOUR PRAYERS AND MORAL SUPPORT (last but certainly not least).

As you can see, with a lot of heart-felt effort, you can

'ALLOT A LOT'

United Way Strategic Funds Grant

We are sincerely grateful to our partner in the fight against hunger, United Way of St. Johns and Putnam Counties, for including Feed the Need in their Strategic Grant funding with a $7,500 award. This support helps sustain our Over the Weekend Backpack Program, ensuring food-insecure students have meals when school cafeterias are closed.

A special thank you to Carl Cricco, President and CEO and Meghan Durden, Director of Philanthropy at United Way for supporting us on this journey!
