An important update this week is the 2nd round of COVID-19 Relief Funding. A new stimulus program has been passed by legislators and parts of the program include emergency loans and relief for small business owners. Below are several ways you can learn more and find out if the funding is applicable to your business situation.
Act Overview
The Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits and Venues Act is part of a the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021. This Act provides designed funding to support small business impacted by COVID-19. While some components of the program are similar to the CARES Act passed in March 2020, there are some key differences. Additionally, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the U.S. Treasury have not released their official guidance.
