Meet at Lincoln Ave in Palo Alto, between University Ave and Hamilton Ave
Spend the morning ambling through Palo Alto’s Crescent Park neighborhood with Canopy and arborist,
Herb Fong
. We'll touch on the great height of the tulip tree, the prehistoric maidenhair tree, saucer magnolia, queen palm, dawn redwood, and Chinese tallow tree.

California Arbor Week Celebrations

City of Mountain View Arbor Day Festival
Saturday, March 14, 11am to 1pm
Pioneer Park, 1146 Church St, Mountain View
Join the City of Mountain View and Canopy to celebrate California Arbor Week. The event kicks off with a ceremonial tree planting, followed by children’s arts and crafts, tree climbing demonstration, Talk-to-an-Arborist station, and a family tree walk led by Canopy and arborist Jakob Trconic.

Arbor Day Festival with Palo Alto Art Center

Join Canopy and the Palo Alto Art Center for a community celebration focused on trees, with free activities for the whole family! This event will feature hands-on art activities, performances, adult workshops, tree-climbing, and an Exploration and Ask-the-Arborist station. Mark your calendar! We hope to see you there!

Community Forestry Coordinator or Manager
We're looking for a driven and organized person to join our team as a Community Forestry Coordinator or Manager. This team member will be responsible for leading Canopy’s tree planting and tree care programs in Palo Alto and Mountain View.
