NACCC Virtual Prayer Circle Rev. Dr. Cindy Bacon Hammer, Moderator

With a new year come many hopes of how we will live our lives. One way we can add a life-giving habit to 2021 is to join the weekly NACCC Prayer Circle offered on Thursdays at 1 p.m. Central Time. During this 30 minute time we share our prayer requests, hopes for our families, friends, churches, the NACCC and the world. Or, we can just listen and pray silently. This is a beautiful time that nourishes our souls and keeps us in touch with our NACCC brothers and sisters.   You do not need to engage each week to participate. Come as you can. Or, if you can't, please share your prayer requests with your pastor to share with us. We will offer your prayers to God, whether you are there or not. Building and Loan Opportunities Jodee Lord, Board of Directors

The Building and Loan Fund is available to member churches within the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. Congregations have used this fund for remodeling, building and repairing their churches. Some of the projects are small repairs while others are large remodeling projects. Some projected that were completed are, putting on a new roof, new bathrooms, building extension, electrical repairs and handicap ramps. If your church is facing any of these projects you may want to consider applying to the Building and Loan Fund. Congregations that are interested can contact Dan Drea at the NACCC office to see if you are eligible for this low interest loan.

CIT Annual Meeting Varn Philbrook, Congregational Foundation Board of Governors Happy New Year to everyone from your NACCC Congregational Investment Trust (CIT) Board. Although the pandemic has weighed very heavily on everyone and everything that we do the CIT, supported by the Vanguard Institutional Investment firm, has actually had a good year. And this portends well for all our CIT member churches as well as our National Associations’ and Congregational Foundation assets. This year’s CIT Annual Meeting will be virtual, and is scheduled for February 10th, at 12 PM CST. The Vanguard Investment advisors will present this years’ past performance and their excellent `look-ahead’ analysis. This is an open meeting – and we encourage member churches interested in this NA service to attend. Please consider the opportunity to invest your long-term assets in a very economical and VERY professionally managed portfolio.
