BEV Refuse Trucks


The city of Kuna, Idaho, contracts with J&M Sanitation for their residential waste collection. J&M has replaced all their diesel trucks with battery electric trucks manufactured by BYD.

Rivian’s 4th Quarter Success


Rivian exceeded their projected sales in Q4 of 2024, stating that supply shortages are no longer an issue. Rivian is now expecting to turn its first profit.

Honda, Nissan & Mitsubishi Merger


Honda and Nissan have signed an MOU to develop a merger to combat Chinese domination of the EV market, and Mitsubishi may also join them.

Clean Hydrogen Rule Published


The US Department of the Treasury has finalized the rule that will allow certain “Clean” hydrogen producers to access Inflation Reduction Act funding. Clean hydrogen is defined as being produced from nuclear, biogas, and in some states' [including California] grid power.

Department of Defense 2025 Funding Priorities


The US Department of Defense has announced their funding priorities for 2025, and these will include autonomous mobile robots, battery storage, biomass and “green” hydrogen production.
