Water Reclamation Wildflower Garden Planting
Help us plant a wildflower garden! On January 19th, 2021, we will be planting a wildflower garden by the new restroom facility at the Rotary Pavilion. The purpose of this garden is to recycle treated wastewater from the restroom to water the wildflower garden. This garden will provide food and habitat for pollinators and wildlife at the lake, decrease the amount of mowing and maintenance needed, and increase the beauty of the field! Wee Explorers will be joining us and will have the kids helping spread the wildflower seed! Okies for Monarchs has provided free seed packets for everyone to take home for your own garden! Anyone who would like to come out and help is more than welcome! We will be meeting at the Purcell City Lake South Parking Lot marked on the map.
