Hello! My name is Gerard Rockers and I am one of the third grade teachers here at St. Peter School. This is my 31st year of teaching at St. Peter. I graduated from the University of Missouri in 1987 with a degree in biology and in 1991 from the Missouri School of Law.
I am a licensed real estate broker, contractor, and attorney.
My wife, Susie, and I have been married for 33 years and have three children; Zachary (Luci), Abby (Jesse), and Ellie (engaged to Travis.) We have four beautiful grandchildren, Kai, Kolbe, Lily, and Niko (due in February). I love teaching at St. Peter School. The students, families, faculty, staff, and priests are special to me.
God bless you all!

Dear St. Peter Families,
Our theme for Catholic Schools Week this January is a continuation of our school theme: What Would Jesus Do? We would like to invite St. Peter's adult family members to consider if they have a talent they can teach to our students. If you feel called by the Holy Spirit to teach your talent, here are the details to consider:
What can you teach?: hair styling, gymnastics, gardening, baking/cooking, art or craft, dancing, acting, day in the life of your job (police, firefighter, etc...)
When: Friday, January 31st-one or two sessions of your activity from approximately 8:30-10:30.
Who: You can determine whether your activity is appropriate for younger or older students.
Where: You will teach the activity in a classroom or the appropriate space in the school building. A teacher/staff member will be in the room with you to supervise and assist.
How: Please send your name, an activity you would like to teach, and any questions you have concerning materials needed and logistics to Mrs. Garner at sgarner@stpeterjc.org no later than January 17th.
All volunteers must be compliant with Virtus.

TO BE AN “ACTIVE” CATHOLIC STEWARD MEANS:
- To Pray: that is, attend Mass faithfully in the parish on weekends and Holy Days.
- To Participate: that is, to use one’s time and talents to strengthen the parish community and advance the Gospel.
- To Sacrificially Give: that is, pledge and remain current on a tithe of financial first fruits to support the life and ministries of the parish. The goal is 8% to the parish and 2% to other worthy charities.
