Lessons Learned, Lives Saved
In his article “School Safety and Lessons from Rick Rescorla,” Lt. Jon Quast of the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office draws the correlation between Rick Rescorla’s military experience, how the lessons learned from that experience helped save the lives of 2,687 people on 9/11, and how those same lessons can be applied to school safety in the areas of Mindset, Prevention, Preparedness, and Action. To read Lt. Quast’s article, click here.
