Ask yourself this: what do you avoid or resist in your life? There's an old saying that says: "That which we resist, persists!"  


The fact is, as human beings we tend to notice all the negative things about ourselves or things we don't like. Part of that is how your brain is hardwired.  

Your brain, especially your conscious mind, is designed to keep you safe so it will typically come up with ways to avoid or resist something.


When it comes to feelings and emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, anxiety, etc., if you avoid those feelings or resist them it typically makes the emotions worse, especially in the case of anxiety. So what can you do with unwanted negative emotions? Read More
