BUSINESS SPONSOR
SPOTLIGHT

Ever since opening for business in February 2010, The Office Bar and Grille on Morehall Road in Malvern has been a great local destination for good food, drinks, and music.  Owners Frank and Kim Boyle greet everyone with a smile and make sure all guests feel at home.  With an extensive menu, 20 beers on tap, and a nice drink selection, "The Office" is a great choice for lunch, happy hour, dinner, or a place to meet friends.

The Office Bar and Grille has always given back to the Great Valley community through event sponsorships, in-kind donations, and program advertising.  Frank and Kim Boyle have developed a novel "Giving Back" fundraising program for local non-profit organizations looking to raise money.  GVCO has benefited significantly from a number of great events at "The Office".  For information on how your non-profit can raise money through this program please e-mail [email protected] or  or call (484) 318 7806

GVCO greatly appreciates the ongoing support of The Office Bar and Grille.

GVCO BOARD
NEWS

The GVCO Board of Directors met in January 2017 and reviewed our current organizational structure.  While details have not been finalized, it was the consensus of the board that GVCO needs to evolve to best support our mission and community.  We are planning to update the structure of the organization, to bring GVCO in line with current recommendations for well-run non-profit entities.  Further details on the reorganization will be released in the coming months.

Once again, GVCO would like to recognize all of the volunteers who selflessly give their time and talents so we can offer the best possible programs to the Great Valley community.  GVCO is always seeking volunteers willing to help us better serve the community.  Please contact GVCO  if you can provide volunteer assistance.

CARING HANDS FOUNDATION
Caring Hands' Good Neighbors Campaign.

A few days before Christmas, our Caring Hands Foundation had several volunteers work diligently on gift-wrapping over 200 presents for the seniors at the Phoenixville Senior Center and at the Surrey's Center for Healthy Living in Devon!

The gifts were kindly donated to GVCO by an online gift retailer. With kindhearted effort to wrap these gifts we were able to complete them prior to the holiday and deliver them to the senior centers, where many happy seniors in our neighboring communities received gifts from Santa.

GREAT VALLEY COMPETITIVE CHEER

GVCO/SURREY PROGRAMMING FOR ADULTS 55+
Here is a great example of the type of programming GVCO will be able to offer, through our partnership with Surrey Services.

Surrey welcomes John (Jack) Dobbyn, a local author who has written five legal/mystery thrillers to Surrey Devon on Thursday, February 16, at 6:00pm. The evening begins with light fare and wine, and his presentation will start at 7 pm. (Snow date is Thursday, February 23.)

Fatal Odds, his newest book, will be available for purchase and signing.  An earlier book, Neon Dragon, is in development to become a major motion picture.  "John Dobbyn's thriller, Fatal Odds, does everything right: a nail-biting plot to keep you turning pages, characters that shine brighter with every twist and turn." said James Rollins, a New York Times Best Selling Author.

Jack got his start writing fiction 15 years ago when he wrote a short story in a creative writing class at Main Line School Night.  A native of Boston, he received his J.D. from Boston College Law School and LL.M. from Harvard Law School.
Tickets are $35 per person. If you have questions about the event, please call Surrey Services at 610-647-6404 ext 111.
